Saturday's Rose City Rollers game with the High Rollers vs. the Heartless Heathers is hella going to sell out (but you can watch the live stream if you weren't lucky enough to get tix). If you slept on getting tickets, the jam-packed status of Saturday's bout might not be such a bad thing—'cause Friday and Sunday's games are probably going to be way more exciting to watch. I say this with love because it's highly likely the Heathers, who are in a rebuilding stage with a lot of new skaters to the team, will be on the losing end of the scoreboard, as they take on the white-hot High Rollers. Friday's game is a fundraiser for the Rose City Rollers' Break Neck Betties, as they battle the Derby Liberation Front from Seattle's Rat City Rollers league. I think the most fun exhibition of roller derby is going to be on Sunday afternoon with the junior roller derby gals. Those chicks are so much fun to watch! It's the tie-dyed love children of the Rainbow Bites vs. the zombies of the Undead Avengers—both Rosebuds home teams.
