GOOD MORNING, BLOGTOWN! I know what it means, to walk along the lonely street of dreams. LET'S GO TO PRESS.
As Nathan mentioned in GMN Saturday, a company that processes credit card transactions has been hacked, which means those crooks possibly have the personal info of over 1.5 million people. (Don't worry... you've surpassed your limit. Remember?)
The three widows of Osama bin Laden have been arrested for illegally living in Pakistan. (Dibs on "The Three Widows of Osama bin Laden" for the title of my next romance novel.)
The Supreme Court rules that, YES, BLOGTOWN COMMENTERS: You may be subject to an invasive strip search even when arrested for a minor offense. This ruling counts only for Blogtown commenters.
Afghan security forces have been murdering NATO troops, and the reason why may surprise you!
Tsunami Ghost Ship. (Dibs on band name!)
Santorum refuses to quit; Vows to keep coming and coming and coming, until there's nothing left but a big wet frothy mess.
Two big marches/rallies today: 1) Occupy Portland is at the Multnomah County Courthouse all morning to protest the justice system's penchant for arresting peaceful protesters, and 2) the Albina Ministerial Alliance (AMA) Coalition for Justice and Police Reform is forming a picket line noon at City Hall to protest the state arbitrator's decision to reinstate Officer Ron Frashour to the PPB. Stay tuned to Blogtown for the latest on both of these events!
Now here's what's going on in your neck of the woods: ENJOY TODAY, MY FRIENDS. It's gonna be a balmy 62 degrees and mostly sunny—but the rest of the week? Not so much.
And finally, WORD OF WARNING, TOURISTS: Know what happens to Germans who get arrested for minor traffic violations in America? You get ass raped, son! Now, auf wiedersehn.
