The nonprofit Cat Adoption Team out of Washington County has had a rough start to its year. First, a flood triggered by a burst pipe damaged 60 percent of its shelter in April. Now, someone broke into their mobile Spay Station over the weekend, stealing a laptop and kitty anesthetic. Really?

The trailer's main purpose was to temporarily replace the water-damaged shelter, which is even more irritating. The damage to the surgical trailer (on loan from Multnomah county), that was parked in the shelter's parking lot, rounds up to $2,000.

But—the Cat Adoption Team is far from giving up. Thanks to the warm weather, vets are saying "screw the broken windows" and still conducting surgeries into the week. You tell 'em.
