Grandma Nan, facing arrest.
Police arrested five protesters this morning at the Obama campaign headquarters in SE Portland and Oakland police arrested another six protesters at the Bay Area Obama HQ in as part of a coordinated protest to demand the release of Bradley Manning, the soldier who has been in prison for over a year awaiting trial for release of documents to WikiLeaks.

Manning's trial is scheduled to start this September on numerous military justice code violation charges including "aiding the enemy"—a capital offense.

Portland's protesters entered the Obama campaign office on SE 11th and Madison at about 7:50pm last night and refused to leave until their demands were met, meaning until Bradley Manning was freed from military prison. That didn't happen, so instead the police arrested five protesters, including 75-year-old activist "Grandma Nan." The five protesters were charged with Criminal Trespass in the second degree.
