Arts Tax Update: Deadline to Pay, in Person or Online, Extended to Next Week

This bureaucratic, legal and technical mess is hardly the victims' fault
I don't care how many pathetic excuses they find to extend the deadline, I'm not paying it until the courts say I have to.

I also find it excessively amusing that the city's now adjusted the amount of money they expect to collect from $12 million to $8 million and now report that they've reached "80%" of that figure-- without taking into account all the PERS pensioners and sub-$1000-income earners they're now obliged to refund. Feels good to keep money away from people who really need it, doesn't it, Denis?
Why doesn't the city use the $7 million that they want to spend on the fluoride treatment facility for arts programs in schools!?...or health education?
