In the most exciting day ever since Sam Elliott visited the Mercury offices, Rob Lowe—who we all remember played Sam Seaborn on The West Wing—visited the actual West Wing, and took the podium in the White House briefing room! And according to everyone in sight, the normally stoic White House reporter pool could not stop DA-ROOOOLING! From Huff Post:

The former "West Wing" star was visiting and then he walked into the briefing room and he even took to the podium and the press corps was THRILLED. So thrilled, in fact, that photos were taken; photos were tweeted; some might even get framed and collect dust on a desk somewhere.
