If you pay attention to local events, you know that producer B. Frayn Masters knows how to put on a show: She runs the wildly popular storytelling series Back Fence PDX, as well as the spinoff storytelling series Russian Roulette and variety show Entertainment for People.

Tonight marks the debut of a new show from Masters' entertainment empire: The New Shit Show promises brand-new work from an ensemble that includes Arthur Bradford, Andrew Dickson, Laura Gibson, and others, plus special guests. Basically, it's entertainers and artists working in a variety of disciplines—music, comedy, storytelling, theater—debuting brand-new work for the first time. The show's first installment is tonight at Disjecta, and will run every second Monday for forever, or until it stops.

Tickets are $8 advance, $10 at the door, and I know you're afraid of driving but the MAX runs straight to Disjecta—and yes, the show is still on. Details here.
