There's no better way to kick off your weekend than with this charming, uplifting video of Ages and Ages performing at a friend's home, with an army of guest singers chiming in, including members of the Northwest Children's Choir and PHAME, plus other local musicians. Alicia J. Rose directed the live video, and the band's frontman Tim Perry says, "In a lot of ways, I feel like this is the way our music is intended to be: inclusive, communal, and all together." Ages and Ages' next Portland area show is at Pickathon, which takes place August 1-3.
Here's a new video of Eidolons performing live at the Banana Stand in April of last year, performing the song "Gross Towel." You know, sometimes a towel can be saved with a good wash and some bleach... other times, you just need to throw that towel away. This performance comes from Eidolons' new live album, which you can get on June 24 from Banana Stand.
We'll end today with this new video from the Fur Coats, for their song "Desperate," which appears on this year's PDX Pop Now! compilation album. Costa Gountanis directed the video, which features a team of synchronized swimmers at the Northeast Community Center, before things get a little more... stabby. The Fur Coats will release their new EP next month
