As announced, Project Pabst is returning for a second year after a successful 2014. The music festival was initially staged by Pabst Brewing Company as a thank you to the city for turning Portland into a stronghold for Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, and now they're doing it again. They've announced the lineup for the daytime shows, which will take place on July 18 and 19 at Zidell Yards, near the west side of the Ross Island Bridge.

Take a look at what's in store for 2015!

SATURDAY, JULY 18
Blondie
TV on the Radio
Run the Jewels
Against Me!
Thee Oh Sees
The Velvet Teen
Priory
Hustle and Drone

SUNDAY, JULY 19
Weezer
Passion Pit
Buzzcocks
The Both (featuring Aimee Mann and Ted Leo)
Alvvays
Terry and Louie (Terry Six and King Louie Bankston)
Wild Ones
Wampire

There will also be a cluster of nighttime shows taking place that Friday and Saturday night at various clubs throughout town, turning Project Pabst weekend into a full-on multi-day, multi-venue festival. Those shows will be announced later.

A few things: Terry Six and King Louie were both members of the Exploding Hearts for the recording of their foundational classic, Guitar Romantic. They made a single together last year, and them teaming up for a Portland show is a big deal. Also, the Velvet Teen! They'll have a new album out on June 30, their first since 2006. Additionally, Blondie and Buzzcocks in the same weekend sound pretty great, and Alvvays is always fantastic. Same with Against Me! Plus, TV on the Radio and Run the Jewels on the same bill is nothing to sneeze at, and people seem to continue to like Weezer.

Tickets for Project Pabst are on sale now and early bird specials include $35 for a single day ticket and $60 for the weekend. Once those are sold out, ticket prices ride to $45/day and $75/weekend. Tickets are available at the Project Pabst site.
