• Comedian Andie Main is stepping down from her perch as host of drunk Pictionary art 'n' comedy showcase Picture This! "It's a very amicable split," says Main, who will be taking on new hosting duties for Curious Comedy's weekly open mic and a new open mic, Art Party. Main's last night on the job will be a farewell show this Friday.

The Stumptown Improv Festival arrives at Milagro Theatre on Thursday, with a stacked lineup of local all-stars like the Liberators and out-of-town delights like the improbably named Virginia Jack. We've got a preview running in this week's arts section, but while you wait patiently for Wednesday, I highly recommend a refresher course through last year's coverage from my predecessor, Alison Hallett, when Stumptown was a brand-new baby fest. Also, this is definitely going to sell out, so I'd recommend getting your tickets now to avoid sadness when the shows inevitably sell out this weekend. Unless you're too cool for improv or something, which no one is.
