For those who can't wait to celebrate with the MLS cup winning PORTLAND TIMBERS (YAYYYYY!) it looks like the rally and parade at Providence Park for our returning victors will be tomorrow at noon... or will it? Here's the latest:
@TimbersFC parade at noon, stadium rally around 6. At least for now

Full details on tomorrow's celebration still TBD, but may be closer to 12 noon-ish, than 6PM as first tweeted. Stay tuned... #RCTID π

This drenching rain is absolutely not helping in scheduling tomorrow's party, and there are plenty of complaints about the proposed noon start time (because people have to work after all!!), but we'll keep you updated on the how's and where's for the celebration.
UPDATE 1:45 pm: Pissed that the Timbers don't push their party to Saturday? Owner Meritt Paulson has a response.
Not an option. A good portion of players have travel plans on Wed. Less than ideal but we can handle https://t.co/PQwBW94p4s

CAN'T WAIT? The Timbers are scheduled to touch down at the Portland International Airport at 2:20 pm today, so you might just want to meet them there (and maybe offer to give 'em a ride home?).
UPDATE 10:56 am: For those heading to the airport, the Timbers return flight has been unsurprisingly delayed. Make note!
UPDATE: The @AlaskaAir Timbers jet delayed by 90-120 minutes. Please follow here for updates on arrival information at @flypdx. #RCTID
