Smoking weed in a tightly gathered public space is ignant AF. Why does the Mercury push some convoluted myopic agenda? Noone cares if you smoke weed. But until companies stop drug testing their employees people do care if you smoke in the public sphere. Try pushing your agenda that route; put pressure on stopping companies from random drug testing on legal substances. Is that too logical or complex though; instead we have to read about how some jobless 20 something whose rent is paid by their parents should be allowed to burn one wherever they want.

Yeah, its also dumb that we can't smoke tobacco at concerts, or in bars, restaurants, shopping centers. Hell, wherever. And I'd really like to burn my damned plastic trash so it doesn't have to end up in the landfill or ocean. What is with all these damned laws against burning stuff?

On what planet is it dumb? You can't smoke cigarettes in a public place. If you wanna consume an edible, that's your business I guess, but expecting places to sell it when most shows here get to be underaged is a really shortsighted idea. I love not having to go shows anymore where I have to also inhale smoke. If you're at an outdoor venue, live the dream I guess. But indoors? It's just rude.

The single worst thing about legalization has been that people feel so free to smoke and carry pot everywhere, and as a person that doesn’t smoke it and has always been averse to the smell of it, the last thing I want is that bs at a show. Outdoor shows are different, but I would never set foot at an indoor venue that allowed pot smoking or vaping. My job isn’t worth it.
