To the gentleman in the gold Cadillac who buzzed my bike by six inches while doing 30 on NE Broadway: My momma always insisted I should "take the high road" when it comes to people like you. You're much older than me and I'm sure in your many years of living in the United States of America you've also become much wiser. Therefore I apologize for the disrespectful tone with which I responded after, at the red light, you rolled down your window and said, "YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING ROAD AND YOU DESERVE TO GET RUN OVER." I'm ashamed of myself and I promise to be a better, more considerate bicyclist in the future.
