What you DO see are $900+ Studios. Yes, for sure... And also local bar and restaurants... Local coffee shops. Independently owned boutiques and stores... and yes, unaffordable housing. But that's what you agreed to by living in Portland... a city... that is trying to grow... to be upset or shocked about change just shows how ignorant you are about the city you live in and not any kind of conviction to maintain anything other than your own, personal whims and wants.
