Tried this place out for the first time a few weeks ago. Went straight for the tonkotsu ramen as any respectable ramen lover would. The broth was deep and rich, among one of the better I've had outside of Japan. I also appreciate the lack of an add ons menu because there are certain items like egg, pork and green onion that should just be expected to be in a bowl of ramen without having to pay extra to add them.

The one disappointment was the noodles. While cooked well, they seemed too thin and wheaty. That would be the one aspect they could tinker with, but overall Boxer is a welcome substitute for the now defunct Wafu.

Went once, likely won't go again. GOOD: Service, red miso ramen. KINDA GOOD: Tots. BAD: a) cash only b) no to-go c) two in my party got the shittake shoyu, and it was basically like a bowl of soy sauce (lukewarm soy sauce in one case). The tonkotsu was acceptable, but nothing special.

Went last weekend. I enjoyed it more than my Japanese wife.
She complained the chasu pork tasted more like bacon than it should.
She liked the way they did the eggs though.

There's an ATM right in the restaurant, if I'm not mistaken. The cash-only thing shouldn't be too much of a problem for people.
