Intesting, thanks.

Just to be pedantic though - it's on the site of the former Powell's Technical books, not in the old building, which was demolished.

"Floor-to-ceiling window or not, I got vicariously claustrophobic at the thought of sharing a 350 sf space—and a bunk bed, no less—with a stranger."

I spent one year with a roommate in UO's dorms, which were approximately 8X15, not counting two desks, two (manually lofted) beds, and two closets.

YOU KNOW NOTHING OF CLAUSTROPHOBIA.

THESE ARE PALACES.

@Colin - How much was your housing? $8,000 per academic year sounds pretty steep.

@CC -- Let me guess.. Hamilton?

So sad. Isn't living in a cheap, cockroach and rat enfested, unheated warehouse one of the perks of being an art student? Who are these pansies?

Looks like the graphic designers of the future are going to be insufferable princesses...

"sure, I'm paying $30k per year for an undergrad fine arts degree, BUT MOM: I have my own WASHING MACHINE"
