CotW is interesting, but only that. It's the community theater of commenting. It needs something more. It needs to go pro to get take it to the next level. Put some scratch behind it, or at least some meaningful freebies. It doesn't have to cost much. Combine an offer of couch surfing, a bucket or two of day old doughnuts, tickets to second run movies and a case of Pabst, and you can live the Portland lifestyle for a week.
Apparently it's going to cost me $18,400 to have that thread tattooed as a scroll that wraps around my body from my chin on down.
It only cost $80 to have it printed on to a blanket to keep me warm at night, but I'm having a little more difficulty turning it into food that will actually sustain me.
My nutritionist team is on it, though, no worries.
May I suggest though, that the Mercury post these 'best of' re-hashings in a font size that's legible without a microscope? I'm still young, I shouldn't feel like a myopic geezer trying to read this action.
Graham, you don't need COTW. Many of your comments live in infamy!
That whole thread was gold, what with Vince committing total PR seppuku.
