WTF? Portland, the bike city is suddenly becoming a Bike-Car war zone. I've been bike commuting for 20 yrs and have never felt so much tension on the road between Cars and Bikes. Last night I was rolling down Interstate ave, not running any lights, on the side of the road... and some lady pulls up alongside and begins yelling at me to get off the road. I will admit I felt the urge to smash her fucking tail lights in. I just smiled and waved, but WTF?!?!?

That's a freaky video. He really slammed on the breaks at the stop! Glad he ended up getting some sense and letting the poor guy off.

I have to say that I still feel pretty relaxed as I ride around. But I ride on quiet residential streets about 80% of the time. And I go out of my way to do so, because (for example) I think gliding north on 17th or Rodney is more fun than racing between cars on Williams. I don't care which is fastest.
