I totally watched this show. Even at age 11 or 12 I was able to see how thin it was.

That show was amazing. Second only to Breaker High, which pretty much had the same plot (and was later in the 90's), except that the kids were on a ship. Like semester at sea for high schoolers. Also, Ryan Gosling was on it.

Oh my god, yes. Dude in the leather jacket was one of my first shameful adolescent crushes. (Him and young Ryan Gosling, as noted above.)
