You know I love blogs (I'm posting on one right now). But is it only me, or should we be not too happy about city employees and humanitarian non-profit agencies having a "blog-off," to see who has bragging rights on blogging the best. I kind of think there are a few city offices that do it TOO MUCH. BDS and Water to name just two.

These two city blogs do not appear to serve a purpose for the citizens of Portland, other than to try to distract us all from what is really going on, or to convince us they're wonderful. Either way, it's bad. I'm not familiar with the Red Cross one, but I'd think they'd want to focus more on raising funds (and blood donations).

Again, maybe it's just me.
