I think that may be Biden equivocating. He said life begins at conception but that's never been in scientific doubt. Plant cells are living things and so are zygotes, so repeating that cliche is technically true it's just not true in the way it's commonly used -- which is human life begins at conception.

Biden's stance is the same as John Kerry's, and I have no problem with it, though I don't agree.

The key difference between them and the Repugs is that they respect everyone else's right to decide for themselves.
