Heh. I had them do some print work for me in the past few years. It's definitely crazy-looking inside, but Mr. Gwinner does a fine job.

This is a great post; I've always wondered about that house myself. I just assumed it was uninhabited, amazing.

Oh, no, this old house has been a going concern for a long time. It has also been vulnerable to vandalism and attempts to break in. Thankfully, printing presses are harder to jack than GPS units, etc. The neighborhood context helps explain the reluctance to devote much time or money to rehabbing the exterior. Uncle Rich has worked extremely hard for many years to keep the Press going. He has been at his trade longer than a passel of Kinkos. Anyway, I have many fond memories of the house, and I can attest that there is plenty of dust and old printing mojo but no ghosts that I can recall bumping into.

The big question is, who is this Ryan character?
