How complicated is the Strategy side of this game? Is this more like Fire Emblam or more like Front Mission?

Easier than both. It's very deep thanks to the interesting turn system, but between the training you get in the first few missions and the simple rock-paper-scissors system, you pick it up really quickly.

Hmm.. Maybe then.

How about I just replay X-Com again?
