"Before we start, I want to give my love to the Blazers fan who shouted "FUCK THE CELTICS" during Storm Large's performance of the national anthem. Not before, or after, but right in the middle. Bless you, sir."
Well, c'mon, it's the patriotic thing to do. Hating the Celtics has almost replaced hating the Lakers/Yankees/Red Sox as civic duty.
I agree.
The Celtics were less evil when they had Dee Brown.
The Red Sox were less evil when they had Oil Can Boyd.
The Patriots were less evil when they had Doug Flutie.
I think we should play 6 on 5 more often. Seriously though, I'm feeling good at half. A lot better than I expected. What are we shooting like 37% and still only down by 5? Yes. We. Can.
Being a one-time devout Sonics fan (Sonics R.I.P.), some people are going to have to convince me to get back into NBA hoops again as a Blazers fan. Maybe we can talk about it when I do move to Rip City next Summer.
Greg Oden's contributions mean so much more than a stat line. There have been at least a half-dozen possessions where his mere presence under the hoop has changed the Celtics' play.

Now it's fun to hate them all.
