Does he think I look fat in this?
2
Why don't you ride a recumbent bike like Tom Potter?
3
The same one the presidential candidates refused to answer:

Given the current economy, which of your campaign priorities will have to be cancelled or delayed?

+1 for Stu's question.

5
How much does it cost to maintain those silver highlights around the temples?
aaaaaaand what Stu said.

"According to Multnomah county elections, %41.33 of the voting electorate did not vote for you and most likely will vote in favor or your recall. For you to be removed from office only %8.68 of those that did voted for you in 2008 must be in favor of your recall. With the resend loss of support from the bicycling and environmental communities over your lack of representation on the I-5 bridge do feel that it would be in the best intrest of Portland for you to resign now so that a leader that is not as devicive as you can be elected?"
7
"Mayor Adams, would you be willing to place a 'Vote of Confidence' on next weeks Regular Agenda?"

"During the past 6 city council meetings you have been unable to enforce the 'No Clapping Rule' against citizens that support your resignation. If citizens do not respect your authority, how can you effectively negotiate from a position of power for the people of Portland with Unions Leader who's contracts may have to be re-negotiated to prevent Portland from going bankrupt?"

@RecallSamAdams

Learn how to spell...you make yourself look like a inbred redneck special needs baby when you have multiple spelling errors. WTF are resend, intrest and devicive supposed to mean?

9
Some Sam-critics clap in council, and you think that means that union contracts can't be effectively negotiated? That's a pretty weak argument.

What does "devicive" mean, anyway?

Hi Bob R. and Garret,

I hope you are enjoying this nice sunny day we are having.

My question for my mayor:

What can we, the citizens of Portland, OR who supported you during the Breedlove scandal, do to effectively communicate our disapproval of your support for the CRC bridge design you and Mayor Pollard are supporting? Where by "effectively" I mean "get you to reverse your support and go back to being a green, progressive mayor"?
12
Good question, BrianM.

I would ask it a bit differently... Given Amanda Fritz's comments during Council that we've essentially given up our main leverage by agreeing in advance on the lane issue, how do you intend to get anywhere with this bi-state management concept? And if the bi-state management concept is successful at managing the bridge, why do we need 12 lanes?

Jasun -

Thanks, it is a beautiful day. (And "Garrett" has two t's.)

Might I suggest that someone please make some biscuit related posts?

Between media interviews, visiting volunteers and proofreading responses to Blogtown regulars it is hard for one to find the time to solve that biscuit hanker'en.

It is with great pleasure I share with you a favorite recipe I have had for many years: Super Quick Cheesy Biscuits

Preheat oven to 450

Mix 2 1/4 cups of Bisquick, 2/3 cup of milk and 1 cup of pre-shredded cheddar cheese in a bowl. You many have to add a little more milk.

Place 5 huge clumps of goodness on a cookie sheet and place in the oven.

Wait about 10 minuets and serve hot.
