Since as far as we know, everyone dies eventually, are you figuring that people would have more children under single payer than they do now, and therefore there would be more deaths? I personally think that under single payer more people could afford good birth control and so death rates would go down because there would be less of us, but I think the state would be money ahead right now to subsidize birth control: It is far cheaper than what we spend on educating those children...

How would more people die? We spend twice as much on healthcare than any other industrialized country yet rank very low in terms of infant mortality, life expectancy, and deaths from preventable disease. We have wealthcare not healthcare.

If every rep and senator comes up with his own personal plan - the result will be that NO plan has enough backing to pass anywhere.
