I always wonder about those who grew up after Bad came out. What do they think about him? To only know him in the creepy/Neverland/Bubbles/"Blanket" era must be a totally different experience than it was for those of us who grew up with his music.
"I hate to break it to you all, by the MJ most of us knew and loved died long ago..."
Truth
"Off the Wall" was THE shit while "man in the Mirror" was just SHIT. He lost the funk.
Michael Jackson & Jodie Foster are the two performers I feel like I "grew up" with, in the sense that I've known who both of them were since I was a kid and we are all pretty much contemporaries (Jackson slightly older, Foster slightly younger). Just weird that he's gone so suddenly, even if "weird" is the most apt one-word description of his life.
Still ... "Off the Wall" ... kicks butt as hard today as it did when released. His music will endure.
He was a legend 2 me and my whole family even my 4 year old loved his video thriller way b 4 he died she watches it every day with her scary self, he has been thru soo much it was his time,i just wish i could of seen him perform one last time b 4 he died, but it was his time god took him away from all this stress and drama with the media, r.i.p. michael you will be missed! love, kristi bryant
