Had a Full Sail Grandson of Spot at Saraveza tonight; I didn't find it remarkably more hoppy than other IPAs. Session's Dark was as advertised, a dark-flavored beer, but without the body of a porter or stout. Not bad, but I prefer a well-balanced amber, I think.
The differences in our experience of the Grandsun may be due to the Randal. Which may just prove to me that the hops column does exactly what it's supposed to. I'll talk about Session Dark in tomorrow's post.
Hang in there - you'll learn the calling by the end of the month. You'll still love local spirits when it's done (and also wine, but my liver and I digress).
And watch, just like in that movie, PAC's body will begin to fail and he'll gain 25 pounds.
Keep up the good fight PAC.
+1 for pasties, too.
