I happened to be at Saraveza when they tapped #6 (I think) and got to compare it to the tail end of #5 (I think) - I'm keen to try #7!

Had a Full Sail Grandson of Spot at Saraveza tonight; I didn't find it remarkably more hoppy than other IPAs. Session's Dark was as advertised, a dark-flavored beer, but without the body of a porter or stout. Not bad, but I prefer a well-balanced amber, I think.

The differences in our experience of the Grandsun may be due to the Randal. Which may just prove to me that the hops column does exactly what it's supposed to. I'll talk about Session Dark in tomorrow's post.
