Isn't Dick Cheney Jewish and therefore, if he orchestrated the 9/11 attacks, those events are Jew-run (as derogatory as the term is)? Not that that was the proper way of phrasing it, and you probably could have saved your self a great deal of that hate mail if you had focused more on the article and not used something you must have known would have been inflammatory...

Why beans?

I'm glad that time to time the Merc staff can be reminded that no matter how annoying the regular trolls can get, we're nothing. We have spelling and grammar and can make the funny. We're also not insane. We're just in need of some 12-step programs for anger management and NA and AA and SA and BA.

I wonder if the Onion gets this sort of hate mail. I think they probably do.

A+++ Would troll again.

They folks should really be using their time for something more productive, like figuring out why a peacock would moon a black-light. Why is the peacock wearing pants? Could the black-light slight the peacock in some way, or would it be simply be a form of self expression? Is the anus of a peacock particularly iridescent? Could the same effect be achieved by simply placing a peacock near a black-light?

Also, Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney a Jew? That's about as non-Jewish a name as a person can be given. According to wikipedia, Cheney and Bush are both Methodists, which would make this one of the few Methodist centric conspiracies out there.
5
Oh, my bad, he just served on the Advisory Board of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA)
6
Jesus. At least most of the Blogtown trolls are capable of putting a sentence together. Hate mailers -1.

C: No, none of the Truthers, or, more importantly, Charlie Sheen, are saying that it's a Jewish orchestration. Ezra just thinks that because he is Jewish then all his "Jew-run blah blah" jokes will be funny and will make sense. This one did not make sense!
8
Eh... I disagree ROM. He got all the nuts to say "Jew run 9/11? That's just some crazy conspiracy theory!" Which is pretty hilarious, if you think about it.
9
black helicopters?

yup, plenty in Iraq and Afghanistan.. still looking for WMD? or was it Bin Laden in revenge for 911?

Something isnt right here... 1,000,000+ dead Iraqis, your troops invaded 2 sovereign states, for what??

Sadly half of you yanks will never know just how much damage you have done to yourselves over the last ten years. You are now one of the most feared and hated countries in the world!

Way to go!!

p.s: good luck hunting for Bin Laden, goodness knows you have spent enough and lives looking for him!
10
many ppl take this issue personally because it is a serious matter. i dont hate you .. there are many ppl that think like you for many different reasons. dont you find it funny that everyone jokes about politicians being crooks and liars, yet when u show specific evidence of it .. no one wants to believe it? it would be nice to live in a world where we can trust government .. but i'm sorry .. we just dont live in that world.

p.s. in any group of similarly minded ppl .. theres always a few that take it too far .. the "green screen" types give the movement a bad name .. just look at the facts and documents presented .. if its all crap .. you should have no problem proving it

It was the Snorks, forever locked in a battle with their distant blue cousins, the Smurfs.

Man, I really hate it when I agree w/ Ezra. I really, truly detest myself and my choices at that point.

Erza, You are right that the 'truthers' will not be able to convince you of anything in such a short response. You have to look into it on your own, sift thru the truth and disinfo, and come to your own conclusions. The first step is realizing that even if the government wasn't involved in 9/11, they are definitely taking advantage of the event. Fear=control. Obama has gone back on many of his campaign promises, just like Sheen said. Are you aware that war makes money for a select few in what is called the Military Industrial Complex? We have been in perpetual war for half a century, every president being involved in a different conflict overseas, while certain parties fund both sides of the event. What was Obama doing in his first days as president? Bombing Pakistan. The only change I have seen so far is for the worse.

Instead of having smart ass comments about so called "conspiracies" be the first thing that pops into your head, why don't you consider Sheen's comments and investigate each individual point he makes. It’s called 'journalism,' give it a shot. Holographic planes, Directive energy weapons, Jewish Zionist plots, and all the other Bull Shit that you crack jokes at are pure DISinfo to turn people off from the discussion of the hard facts. Who benefited from 9/11? Not Bin Laden. Follow the money.

Ezra - this is Kryptonite to "Truthers" - The Popular Mechanics Ultimate Behemoth 9-11 Conspiracy Debunker.

Truthers melt before it like vampires do after my eating Wayne's garlic fries tonight.
16
What in the hell is a duschbag?

Oh, wait. Thank you Urban Dictionary.

"Dush: The way a fucktard spells douche"
18
Popular mechanics debunks fringe theories. Where’s the pod? Who gives a fuck. I want to see an actual plane hit the pentagon not just an explosion. Why can’t the FBI debunk that for us, and release all the tapes.
19
wow, I don't dive into regular blogs normally but I wanted to see non truth seeking peoples opinions and so far nothing but childish insults and total insanity. 6 of 10 911 commision members believe the government is full of crap and most of the families do to. In fact 92 percent of Americans believe they don't have all the answeres. Sounds like you guys are the "fringe" did anyone even read the letter?? There is no disputing the information in it because it is all fact. Blind leading the blind over here.
20
Atomic, I found that amusing at first, too. But it got sour the more I thought about it.

Despite how these Truthers come across as the exact same people who do actually believe in crazy jew-run blah blah conspiracies (like, in how they argue against nobody, have terrible grammar, and cut+paste huge blocks of text), I think the 9/11 conspiracy stuff is in its own realm. And I think it does a cheap disservice to the "movement" when it's too immediately lumped in with the other conspiracy nut stuff. I mean, a lot of the official story doesn't add up, and Cheney is fucking evil!

I'm with Sheen.
21
Your prose style does suck duschbag.
22
Dear Mr. Ezra, as the real perpetrator of 9/11 and the creator of Charlie Sheen, I am deeply offended by the way your blog article makes fun of my efforts.

Know that I now control the Anti-Life equation. It is called Two and a Half Men, and if I ever get my hands on you, I will use it to brake your soul.

You will rue the day you crossed me with your blog article.

"ezra caraeff = DUSCHBAG!"
Idiot!! Everyone knows it's spelled "DOOSHBAG"

Investigative journalism is dead and personal attacks and information control is what 95% of of media is all about. Just check out what people who work for fox say about agenda based news they were forced into, OUTFOXED : Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism. To attack Charlie Sheen for doing the right thing and presenting facts is just childish.

One element of the media’s focus over the last hundred years has been to discredit any theory which can be classified as a "conspiracy." As a result many people have come to view conspiracy theories with suspicion, rather than viewing government with suspicion. This is a very strange reversal of human opinion, and it is important to note that this is a very recent development in the history of mankind.

Conspiracies have driven political direction since the beginning of civilization, and are the rule rather than the exception. It is a testament to the power of modern media that over the course of the last hundred years, a carefully controlled media has been able to condition the population into the belief that conspiracies are the last resort of those citizens who are either paranoid or unable to explain their own failures by any other means.

We need, therefore, to establish the true historical background of conspiracies, so that the reader can view the matter from the perspective of historical fact rather than the highly politicized modern mood. One of the most highly respected historians of our century, Carroll Quigley, wrote of the historical developments leading to the modern control of the media by political powers. In his book, "Tragedy and Hope", he explains that newspapers have been under the control of those with political agendas since 1890, and have been used for manipulating public opinion to support foreign wars. His book also gives the history of the formation of a secret society in 1891 which has influenced governments and world affairs ever since. The groundwork for conspiracies is well documented, and the reader should not be so simple minded as to think that conspiracies are the fabrication of unstable minds, when solid historical documentation supports their existence throughout human civilization.

Another point to consider is this: Why does the media in general discount conspiracy theories so consistently? If the media is not controlled, as I say it is, then would not each editor of each newspaper respond to each theory independently, and would this not result in a wide variation of the treatment of such theories? But this is not the case, and the media is very well coordinated in discounting conspiracy theory. This can only be considered as further proof that the media is centrally controlled.

The greatest hindrance the average person has in learning the truth about the world is his inability to put present developments into historical perspective. This is to say that lack of historical knowledge makes it hard for the average reader to step outside of the paradigms of his era, and this in turn makes it difficult to take a truly objective approach to studying historical fact. This is an important point simply because the present day manifestation of those events which many now regard as conspiracies are the outcome of secret societies which began one hundred years ago, at precisely the time when mass media was becoming a powerful social force. In fact, it is the author’s opinion that without mass media, the plans of these secret societies would have never become successful.

LOL... so you pick the worst and dumbest emails when I'm willing to bet a lot of them were indeed smart, intelligent and offered some solid evidence like Charlie is showing. So, why not cover the other end of the stick? Scared? Lazy? Do please tell... I know you won't but it was fun to entertain the notion as we both know, you'd be burnt when faced with the facts.

Good day.
26
ThinkDaily you made some excellent points, too bad Ezra can not view the issues objectively. But what can you expect from someone who has been manipulated since birth to think a certain way?
27
So Ezra, why don't you try to impress us all with a bit of real journalism. Take Mr. Sheen's 20 points and debunk them one by one using facts and logic. I seriously doubt that you're capable.

PS: find any spelling mistakes in this jackass?
28
No, Charlie Sheen knows what happened on 911 because he pays attention, because he has collected a convincing number of reports that were reported by major main stream media outlets and which have never been disputed, and because he looks like a genius next to political hacks like you :D. So be sure to put this in your favorite "Truther hate mail".

THANK YOU CHARLIE!!!

As for me, I AM PROUD TO BE A TRUTHER!!! WHAT DOES THAT MAKE YOU? A NON-TRUTHER?

And since you think that truthers are delusional fringe elements in society, take a look at these military hero's and intelligence officers who also KNOW that 911 is an inside job.
http://www.opednews.com/articles/genera_al…

http://patriotsquestion911.com/Counterterr…

Why don't you try telling some of those people they're nutjobs?

And, how about responding to a couple of the questions Charlie Sheen asked? Isn't that what news reportage is about?

But you can't, because if you do that, you'd have to confront indisputable facts instead of just parroting the official line.
So hey, consider this a challenge:

Refute 2 of Charlie Sheen's actual QUESTIONS to Obama. YOU CAN DO IT!!! YOU'RE SO SMART!!! COME ON MAN DO IT!!!

BUT YOU WON'T
BECAUSE YOU CAN'T
BECAUSE YOU ARE OWNED.

IT MUST SUCK TO BE YOU.
