Why is this blog so focused on political happenings that anyone could read on CNN? I didn't know this was "BLOGTOWN USA." I thought it was supposed to be about PDX.

How about talking about things that happen in Portland? And by that I don't mean a constant slew of only politically related stories about what the mayor is or isn't doing this week. There's a ton of shit happening in this town and is being missed on the blog because writing about Obama's newest speach is taking up the bandwidth. The Mercury is supposed to be an alternative publication. If I want real news, I sure as shit don't want it from you.

www.sfist.com has you beat in all forms of the blog world. I live here and I'd rather read their blog. That's sad.
