I can't believe I have any nails left at all.

Not the least bit surprising. Saw that coming almost immediately. Too bad. Another white yup-ster moves into a leadership position once held by minorities and working class.

Mizzzzzzzz, do you really know what you're talking about? Chip has been working for minorities for a long time. For you to assume not just based on his skin color is wrong. Us white folks need to be part of the solution, too. Remember it's us that are primarily responsible for creating this society that put minorities in a disadvantaged position.

Matt, I think you got Karol's job title wrong.

Corrected, thanks!

If he thinks Garlington Center and the word "best" can go in the same sentence without smirks around the town, he's just reading press releases.
7
How about "only." Is "only" a better word?

I love Karol Collymore. She'd be a fantastic state legislator. But the Oregonian's premature endorsement is entirely bunk. Did they think that the House seat would automagically go to the runner-up in the Senate seat?

Sure, Lew Frederick has been actively campaigning for the House appointment - but it's entirely plausible that there are other candidates that decided that the proper thing to do would be to wait for a vacancy. (I don't particularly either way myself; I wish my friend Lew lots of luck.)

For all the O knows, their dream candidate has been quietly for today's SD-22 decision to be made. How can they POSSIBLY say, right now, that one candidate is better than all the others that aren't even announced yet?

Have they even heard of Eddie Lincoln?

Please wait...
