No, the Mercury is the last remaining bulwark between the populace and "bad journalism."

Writing poorly-sourced opinion pieces that simply parrot back the talking points of people you agree with is excellent journalism.

News Item: "The BTA is claiming X, and so I wrote it down as a 'news story' and put it in the Mercury."
