Did you know the average protest sign has from three to five sharp corners?!?

So make round signs.

Sounds like a classic case of leadership responding to stupid and irresponsible policies with "uh, we didn't know what was going on. That's not what we told them to do...don't blame us."

The leadership made the 'limit the number of signs' rule knowing that nobody would show up with a pro-CRC sign. They might have "accidentally" forgotten to clarify what exactly they meant to security, but if I had to guess, it wasn't really an accident: the rule was made and communicated in such a way that it would most likely be enforced the way it was...

While I think the leadership should be punished for that, I also think that this says a lot about the project itself. A good project with solid political support could withstand some people with some signs showing up to the meeting. This is not one of those: The project is excessive for even Robert Moses and the political support was never that strong and is disappearing rapidly.

You deserve to be pushed around like this, you spineless peasants!!!!

Wake up, imbeciles!!! You can protest all you want. It means nothing. Go to sleep in denial, cowards. Your savior, Obama, is ruling in the same fashion that his predecessor did. Your elected officials will do as they please. What makes you think that they're there to do your bidding? The information is out there. If you choose to ignore it you deserve every bit of suffering that you have coming your way.

You all whine too damn much. Get a life!

Please wait...
