I can't believe that Burgerville would allow their name and product (probably not really, but still) to be on the same poster with the word "Cuntifiers." Need to hire some new marketing people.
Also, the Cuntifiers obviously didn't learn the lesson of Starfucker.
(See Matt, you don't need an old lady. Blabby is here!)
@Blabby: I don't know, I think they did learn the lesson. If they're lucky, they, too, can parlay curiosity into popularity and have to change their name .
ummm, totally different shit-- Starfucker were a skinny hipster dance band that had a bunch of money waved in their face. Cuntifers are decidedly less marketable. In several ways.
Some of the other recent Burgerville shows were set up to benefit charities via Radio Cab's giving program...not sure if this one is affiliated with that or not.
I wish I'd known about this sooner. Just received a Cuntifiers EP for Xmas from my niece down south. It won't be an evening of your typical fast-food Muzak.
Somebody at Burgerville must like the Cuntifiers, as this is the 2nd time they've played there in the past 3 weeks............
Quick update on the line-up: Cowabunga Babes bailed, and Mean Jeans are playing first now. They go on at 6 sharp, as they are also playing in Seattle tonight with Coconut Coolouts. So get to this show early!

D'you suppose George Propstra is spinning in his grave right about now?
