Um, if someone is found guilty of shoving somebody, then they DID shove somebody, no need for "allegedly."

I had the same thought. Then I read: "The officer... was found guilty of one count of offering a false instrument for filing; he was acquitted of assault." Is it pure bullshit that he was acquitted of something that he so obviously did, and was captured doing right there on video? Yes it is. But maybe that acquittal is the reason for the "allegedly."
