Wow, Steve. I'm not sure it'll be quite the same without that sweater or the revolving stage...but I can't wait to hear it. Maybe you could whisper the whole thing into my ear? That would be nice.

TTFN, Matt! It was nice to have met you.

Sorry I won't be making the Club 21 shin-dig.

Best of luck to you and I'll be sure to look for you "down there". :)

I'm sorry to see you leave the Merc, Matt. I never got to meet you, but I have enjoyed seeing your efforts to keep the local government honest and aboveboard. I am sorry that I won't be able to make your going-away do, but I will be looking for any blogs you may post on the Merc from POLA. I guess you will be looking forward to Mardi Gras. Anyway, have a good time.

@ Socialism: That seems like pretty callous ad placement for a "social"ist.

That was a pretty thinly-veiled advertisement. Not classy.

Are we still calling this a "do?" If so, I will not be in attendance.

Hey Hump, Can Matt's last assignment be to review the lame post by "Socialist"? And hey, if they were appropriately named, would in fact not be smarmily pontificating in this venue. OR maybe they're saying that Matt was responsible for the ANC's wrong-doing?

To the point: Matt-it's been fun reading you, and disagreeing (if only in my head)- nice to know N'awlins will have a bit of humor coming it's way- those are good folks, and they need a laugh right about now...maybe they should watch Hump singing too...

On second thought, that socialist event should be on Erik's Worst Night Ever poll.
