one thing i'd like to remind everyone of is that this isn't just a bridge. it's an approximately 9 mile long, 4 billion dollar highway 'improvement' that includes a bridge.
i don't mean to single you out on this - almost all media coverage frames the CRC project as a "bridge." whether or not this is the successful result of a deliberate strategy on the part of the proponents is hard to say, but accepting and repeating that framing puts those of us that are against the CRC at a significant rhetorical disadvantage from the start.
