A coworker and I just watched the Game 2 1977 brawl. They don't make 'em like they used to.

I played Maurice Lucas many times at the Lloyd Center Racquetball courts between 1999 and 2002. He was a great person and athlete with little ego. It was always a blast to play him on the court....great heart! I will have wonderful memories of our games......I will miss him. John in Vancouver, WA

Maurice Lucas was my first African-American hero, long before I'd even heard of Paul Robeson. I'm sorry to hear that he's gone.
