I've only played the third installment and gave up about halfway through. Navigating DC was such an incredibly tedious chore. Looking back, I wish I would have forced myself to keep playing until I got to the Washington Mall. I'm sure a ravaged Senate building, White House and Smithsonian would have been awesome to run around in.

Anyway, I like your west coast idea but it's just too dang big. San Fran would be pretty surreal. Imagine a post-apocalyptic Marine District with the Golden Gate obscured by green fog or gun fights with hippie mutants in the Haight. I could picture a bunch of characters still trying to live "green" and only resorting to cannibalism if their victims lived on diets consisting of organic produce and dairy. What would such a distinctest liberal city look like after the bombs drop? Plenty of room for cheap satire, ya know?

I would suggest a European vacation and a new gaming engine; maybe the upcoming id Tech 5 engine from Rage.

SF was already in Fallout 2, but it would be fun to see again.

As much as I would love to see the Republic of Cascadia or Ecotopia or whatever in a Fallout game, New York is the obvious choice. Seeing recognizable American landmarks re-purposed into bases, labs, refuges, etc. was one of my favorite things about Fallout 3.

A New York setting would grant a departure from the deserts-and-cowboys feel of New Vegas, giving players a huge urban environment to navigate through, and there could be some pretty obvious set pieces that used recognizable landmarks. Battles on the Brooklyn Bridge and in Central Park come to mind, the Empire State and Chrysler buildings could serve as bases for various factions. Of course there would be the inevitable shootout at the Statue of Liberty, perhaps at the game's climax.

The only downside is that we already have a game series that's all about shooting people in New York, and it's called GTA.

Turn-based isometric combat. This quasi-FPS bullshit needs to end.

Fallout 4: Hawaii. 'Nuff Motherfuckin said.

I was going to say something like "isometric with turn-based combat" but it looks like that's been covered. Gears of War doesn't need a bunch of character customization and branching dialogue to be a good game, but both of the Gears games are more fun than Fallout 3 in my experience.

Fallout 4: Disneyland's Shattered Remains

I agree about the west coast. That would be extra cool if you could put on a bio-wetsuit and go surfing.

Well, I have to say that i like more fallout 3 than new vegas, it has a bigger map and more action but New vegas got more weapons and perks

for fallout 5 (if new vegas was fallout 4) i'd like to see more supermutants, like a gigant fortress or something like that, more crafting weapons (like in fallout 3) but it will be nice if they include a few more (& behemonths! :D).

Personaly i dont like the "mysterious stranger" & "Miss Fortune" perks, with this i want to say that there are some useless perks

Something i really want to see is new style of armor, like in "Morrowind" in that game the armor was divided in 11 parts, so you can make your own good looking armor, this time it will be grat if is divided in 7 parts (including helmet)

Fallout new vegas was a talking game, and that make it booooring, we need more action between chat

The killcam was horrible! they can make it better

The lights in the game are really strange, and the pipboy light dazzles!

There will be nice if they change the Xp program, if you kill a young deathclaw it gives you 50xp! exactly if you kill a bighorner..

Talking about the story..

Maybe a well established city that is destroyed by supermutants!
the surviviors (including you) need to go to a neighbor city for help to start the counteroffensive

this will give the chance to make a destroyed city again & give us more exploring time!

(this time i would like to see more books than NV.. more like Fallout 3)

Ah! and the collecable things.. this time it will be nice if they give you one point in your SPECIALS when you collect them (like with the bobbleheads)

Well thats all i want to see in the new fallout.. i really hope that this is not the final Fallout

Please wait...
