What they learned from Egypt was: "When the government kills the internet it is time to kill the government." When the cell phones went down the everybody hit the streets. And the cops went and hid.

Business is so integrated with the internet and "just in time shipping" that there are already food shortages in Egypt's cities.

There are also some pretty dangerous industrial machines that need their data from the internet to keep functioning safely. (Expect about a $0.15/gallon bump in gasoline prices due to the Egyptian refineries they screwed up.)

Looks like they'll have to do their revolutionizing the old-fashioned way. Sorry egyptian government, but you can't kill-switch the country's photo-copiers.
