I've been hoping for a resurrection of Matt Davis' "read the damn news" for a while, since its easy to miss an article if you primarily read the blog, and if this is going to become a weekly occurrence from my favorite Uncle Frank, well, I'm all for it.

Frank, you are forgetting the inane Columbia Crossing Project into which both the fat heads in Oregon and Washington seem to want to sink millions more into. Give Sara Mirk some credit for being one of the few writers who has the ovarian fortitude to stand up to this malarkey
