Nice piece, Ned.

Really hate "Through my sails," eh? Not the worst song in the world, especially at just 2.5 minutes, definitely doesn't mar the rest.

Has anyone in town taken on Tonight's the Night? Don't know if that's even touchable.

A very thoughtful review of three excellent NY records. For my amusement, would you post your thoughts on Trans?

Gold Rush > Zuma > Ragged Glory. Zuma might be on top if not for that atrocious noble savage liberal white guilt BS on the title track. "Hate was just a legend, war was never known, people worked together and they lifted many stones." Riiiiight.

For the record, On the Beach is the best Neil album, end of discussion.

Everybody Knows This is Nowhere is what am listening now. A few weeks back I was laying to On The Beach. I tend to obsessively listen to very few records, but countlessly.

I think the choice of records to be payed homage is a very interesting choice.

Recent years? Mirror Ball is 16 years old and Harvest Moon was almost 20 years ago....

Please wait...
