It's in a box in Chicago. But someday I'll dig out the picture of an 11yo, stone-washed-jeans-clad Denis getting knighted while still wearing his winter coat.
2
This is bullshit. Get with the program, MT!
3
And the nearest In-N-Out Burger is at least 700 miles south. Le sigh....
4
My mom has a pic of me at Medieval Times too. I have a crown.
5
Denis, you should use that as your avatar. Really. Where the hell is your Blogtown avatar?
6
@JStreckert Actually, that is what Denis looks like. Poor guy.
7
So that's how you became Queen O'Blogtown! I thought you inherited the title...
8
FALSE-ish! There's the Tournament of Kings dinner/show at the Excalibur in Vegas. That's only 985 miles! I just saved you 3 miles!

It's true. My head is a floating circle. Like the great and terrible Oz.

Denis, I could dig up my souvenir packet as well. As a recovering Californian, I got knighted on my birthday in Buena Park at about the same age. I'm sure I have similarly unfortunate fashion choices (I'm guessing jean shorts and a little league jacket?) PLUS pre-orthodonture overbite. CLASS.

Addendum: "There were no utensils in medieval times, hence there are no utensils at Medieval Times. Would you like a refill on that Pepsi?"

@A.P.B. Actually, the nearest In-N-Out is only a mere 420 miles south. Rejoice!

They could not compete with the food served by those shire folk in Hillboro.
14
You're one of THOSE PEOPLE who stay at Excalibur when in Vegas, aren't you?

Fuck that shit. CIRCUS CIRCUS!
15
Something else we need in Portland (or Hillsboro, anyway): PoFolks!

@Todd you can get all those sides at the Delta or MS Delta. I've seen that fish somewhere in town.

Please wait...
