So... if his account of his adventure is being published tomorrow, that would indicate he does not win on tonight's show. Thanks for the spoiler, knucklehead! :(
Let's not jump to conclusions, folks. Denis can't say what happened. So he and the Merc folks CAN'T SAY whether he'll be on tomorrow night's show too...that would give away tonight's outcome. And Denis's essay in the Merc may be written in a manner that doesn't give away what he's contractually obligated not to give away. SO CHILL!
But if I may be serious for a moment, I hope Levant's funeral was EVERYTHING THAT I'VE ALWAYS DREAMED IT WAS!
OMG! Did the Mercury rig this shit?!?! THAT'S the final category? It's a Portland miracle! First Brandon Roy, now Denis Theriault... the two greatest comebacks in the history of this city!
Trebek rarely misses mentioning the fact when it's a runaway. He must've been thrown off by the odd coincidences: his college buddy sharing Denis's name, that final category (in a game that had already had a TV theme song answer!). Anyway, congrats to Denis!
"I work for an alt-weekly that covers primarily food carts and Justin Bieber. I can't believe I'm not winning."
I KID! I'm excited to watch. I love Jeopardy. And I love that picture with Alex - he looks like he's trying to make a boner go away.
Can we make this a /b/town competition?
Zoot suit riot!
(Where can I get one)?

What does he smell like?
On seeing the final category, TV Theme Songs, Alex Trebek says, "Oh, God!" Freaking priceless...
Right on, Denis!
Just wonderin.'
