The I anonymous crap is grating.

Any chance you can remove the "i anonymous" portion from the main Portland Mercury RSS feed?

Or I guess it's time for me to get a better feed program on my droid.

Oh I love the myplate! Odd about Kevorkian dying. I was just thinking about him the other day.

YOUR MOM created 54,000 jobs in May, but they were all for her, and they were all of very limited duration AND SEXUAL IN NATURE.

Oh, great. I'm glad to see the dairy farmers' lobby still has America by the balls enough to get dairy its own separate plate in our recommended diets.

You sure there isn't another plate on the table marked "Corn/Soy?"

Commenty Colin would know, he paid for all of them.

Yes, certainly we need a great deal more caginess in our art institutions. As a rule they are simply not adequately evasive and underhanded to earn my respect.

@e - what's annoying about the I, Anonymous? Would you just rather not have anything about it posted on Blogtown? Or is there some technical glitch?

@Commentary Colin - feisty this morning...

Oh jeebus, I can't wait to hear what Caribou Barbie has to say about the new food circle. "In REAL Murika we have a deep fry quadrangle!"

@4, I agree on the dairy part. I don't think it's necessary, but I don't find it unsurprising. The linked article actually complains that the milk portion is not as large as the veggie portion.

@Oregometry: Agree! Kind of silly to put that there like that. Considering how dense people are about staying hydrated they should have just said 'Water'.

i love the plate! it would have been nice if they changed "dairy" to "calcium" like they changed "meat" to "protein". 'cause we all (hopefully) know by now that dairy is NOT the best form of calcium for humans, our bodies digest plant based protein/calcium way easier. but with such an intricately woven web between big dairy and the us govt, "dairy" recommendations aren't going anywhere for awhile, it seems.

Please wait...
