I think the two girls talking about what they should do makes this video worth posting. I'd love to hear them do the play-by-play for the next UFC event.
That guy watching is smoking in a public transportation facility. The woman filming is illegally recording audio without the permission of those being recorded. There are several jaywalkers visible in the background. The people trying to break up the fight by pulling the one guy off the other are committing Offensive Contact Prohibited under the city code.
I'm sure there are more, but I keep getting distracted by the guy who is assaulting and robbing the guy with the backpack.
@#6: I hope you are not in LE because we will all be sorry if you are. You are free to record stuff out in public. That is definitely not a private conversation. The guys breaking up the fight won't be charged with anything, nor should they be.
But you are right about who is doing the assaulting and robbing.
Sarcasm, Demondawg, sarcasm. Sarcasm about law enforcement is hard in Portland because people have been arrested, stopped, or had their cameras taken away by PPB for the things I've listed and the DA has charged similar dumb things.
My true, less sarcastic opinion is that the Mercury wouldn't be interested if the answer was that the guy robbing the other guy of his phone got charged. I suspect it is the assault victim with the backpack that got charged for something stupid like having weed in his pocket or for provoking the robber or acting disorderly.
As for my role in LE, you are kind of right. I'm the godammned Batman.
[See, that last bit isn't actually true, I was just being funny/annoying/sarcastic. Just keeping you on your toes.]
Denis, by omitting what happened just prior to the fight (or prior to the video shot) you are giving an almost 'edited' view of the events. This is unfair to to your readers.

That dumbass had it coming.
