When I realized I didn't like to talk to people or push, I gave up my news intern dreams. Instead, I have had a very fruitful career as a programmer where I make food and always keep a supply for myself (programmers are as bad as children for eating more than their share).

I must say that I witnessed more adults stealing heaping amounts of pie than I did children (I took bite-size pieces to split with a friend), you seem to be unfairly judging children's love of pie.
