Whats with the name change?

Maybe they changed that name because apparently there isn't a single Mercury employee on the team.

Now you have to play the winner of the Little League World Series for hardball supremacy. Oh wait, they play with an actual baseball. Never mind.

@Rusty! The Old Gold is a bar that I am opening (Christ, what a conflict of interest this is) in October. The idea was to be open during the season, but we failed miserably at that.

@Blabby I am on the team. Also, this season the Mercury's Marissa Sullivan and Tonya Ray both played as well. In previous seasons we've had plenty of Mercury staffers on the team, from Phil Busse to Steve Humphrey (who played about 4-5 seasons before hanging up his spikes this year).

@Ezra: you named the business after your dog?

Are you opening in my neighborhood? What food is going to be on the menu? Are you going to have TVs, so I may politely ignore the world?

@FC: He's supposedly opening the bar at 21st and Killingsworth.

Graham actually it is not far from there, but it is in N, not NE. Also, it will have eight mechanical bulls, and drinks with names like "Lucky Lady" and "MILFbomb." (some of this info might be inaccurate)
