I love and share this perspective. I sat in traffic commuting needlessly for years while thinking about how damaging it was to both my sanity, my health, and the environment. Then I rearranged my life so I could bike on the daily and I'm so much happier. I'm not saying the everyone should do what I did, but the extent to which this country encourages and funds driving as the main viable option in the majority of cases is totally ridiculous.
