Yay! Hollywood Theatre is doing great stuff, and I have been loving the programming changes over the last year. I can't wait for the new equipment to get installed.
(although I am a little sad about Broadway Metroplex -- that was my movie theater of choice when skipping class in high school. To continue the sidenote, I ended up watching Captain America at the Lloyd Mall theater last night with three other people...seemed like they might be next on the chopping block)
I feel bad for the Broadway but guess I could have seen it coming as it was pretty empty the past few times I was there. It seems like most people didn't even know about it which is too bad because it was a good space! Good choice in giving the Hollywood the equipment. Too bad Dan is one of the biggest d**ks in this town.
I'm more disappointed that the Broadway Metroplex never became anything worthwhile more than I am by its closing. Frankly, it deserved to close. If it offered cheaper movies and/or better options then I'd have gone all the time. As is, it looks like the pros outweigh the cons.
